Fifty years ago, William dedicated his professional life to the court reporting profession and because of his achievements; he was recognized by his court reporting peers from the Oregon, Washington, and Idaho Court Reporter Associations.
William has been certified in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho and has earned his RMR, an advanced court reporter certification, through the National Court Reporters Association. He has served on the boards of the Oregon Court Reporters Association and the Washington Court Reporters Associations.
William grew up in the Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon area. He left the area for a bit to attend court reporting school in Salem, OR and in San Francisco, CA, but returned to the area and founded what today is known as one of the oldest continuing court reporting firms in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon.
William is a devoted husband to his wife Carol, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loves spending time with his grandchildren, telling jokes, watching sports, playing pranks on his son-in-law, and, of course, the court reporting profession.
